Marathon Man Mounts for Another Fishing World Record Breaking Attempt
Jeff Kolodzinski, Marathon Man Fishing
Those who have fished Lake Vermilion know how the 40-mile-long, island-filled jewel can produce life-long memories on any given cast, but for Jeff Kolodzinski, his first trip to Vermilion produced a career and led to his legendary world-records for most fish caught in a 24 hour period.
In 2021, Jeff is on Mission 9/11, a 24-hour tribute to honor every life lost on 9/11/2001.
Jeff will fish for 24 hours straight to break a Guinness World Record by catching 2,977 fish — one fish for every life lost on 9/11. The 2021 event promises to be bigger and better than ever and ALL funds raised go to Fishing For Life in support of their NextGEN program and the local First Responders of Spring Bay, IL.
